With over 20 years construction experience supporting small to large construction multi-disciplinary schemes ranging from £1m to £80m working for Network Rail and Tier 1 contractors. Having supported a number of medium to large schemes through to Approval in Principal with Railway Transport & Works Act Orders required, providing constructability input and support with legal and environmental teams and consultation with key stakeholders.

On site Construction Management support and advise on requirements aligned to the adopted contracting strategy, we offer a range of assistance to our clients from developing CDM & construction management plans, establishing construction site protocols, processes and reporting procedures & requirements, monitoring of construction quality, assurance and corporate governance, Principal Contractor Strategy development where interfacing with more than one contractor, Safety tours and site inspections – advising on site behaviours and culture, Site leadership and engagement of the workforce, commercial support and advise when managing EWN’s & Change, Advise and support with meeting key programme milestones and managing on site risks, highlighting construction or process efficiencies, best practice & lessons learnt.

Working adjacent to the operational railway can introduce additional risks, costs and delay and understanding the standards and requirements to meeting legal obligations in this area is something we can support our clients with from feasibility through to construction completion. Engagement with the Rail operator can be managed through us with all key site project documentation compiled and managed through the approvals process. We can supply construction management support on site during any high risk operations such as piling, excavating, Crane lifts or working with plant & machinery close to the operational railway.

Project completion and hand over can be both costly and timely if the required set of deliverables and agreements with key stakeholders are not approved & managed throughout the lifecycle of a project. Through the correct implementation and management of the Asset Management Plan process and in conjunction with the required Health & Safety file Deliverables, we can offer support and expertise throughout your project to ensure the correct processes are implemented and managed from the outset reducing your commercial and programme risks.
